The entrance feels slightly shabby with neglected exterior maintenance!!! The pools' early closing hours limit enjoyable swimming!!! Inconsistencies with room features, like a missing coffee machine and an unreliable TV, could be better addressed!!!

The staff was affable and helpful all that time. The room was reasonably large with the bathroom and a king size bed, as example US$ 99. The location was convenient and favourable for us, in the middle of jackson. Visited Red Bluff Round-up Museum, one of the tourist spots, located relatively near the hotel. We came here for 3 nights and had a good stay.

The hotel was a decent base for enjoying a historic area, so close to several stores, and restaurants and stores. The room we had included central heating, TV set and a microwave. Private bathroom was large.

Request a blow dryer from the owner. They lend them out, convenient since the room doesn't have one.

I arrived late (after midnight) so didn't have much contact with the staff. However, when I rang the night bell, someone came very quickly and I was in my room within a very few minutes. The grounds were clean and the pool area was clean and adequate. The room was very basic, with nothing extra. One of the chairs was broken but everything was clean. The bathroom and shower were very clean and there was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room - both in working order. The bed was quite comfortable. I slept well and was on the road again early the next morning. I believe the room was a bargain and worth the money, as I got it for a great price.
I prefer staying at places that have an all-night registration desk. However, for the price, I can't complain. Also, it is located in an area that is businesses rather than other motels, so felt somewhat isolated.

Get a good nights rest after a long drive after a difficult athletic event. Slept for 12 hours in a relatively quiet place. The pool was not ready but was being serviced when I was leaving. Close to I-5 right on main street of an older quiet town in Northern California (not as busy as Redding 20 miles north).

The price was right, but it primarily for those who only want a bed, and have no problem with a Spartan environment.

The room is spacious and includes a microwave and fridge, perfect for business travelers. Fast WiFi allowed me to catch up on work efficiently, and the nearby diner offers excellent breakfast options to fuel the day ahead.
The bathroom door had some maintenance issues that could be improved for privacy.

The M Star had no frills and is a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. The grounds are kept up nicely and the pool was clean. There is very little road noise which made it easy to get a good nights sleep.
The window treatments and the television could use replacing.

Outstanding service, needs were attended to timely, room was always picked up and cleaned, I would stay there again, very reasonable rates.
I guess I can only say location, I had buisness in Oriville, Redding, Chico and Red Bluff, If it was a chain, I may of been able to center stay. Otherwise it was not bad at all.

The room was spacious with a microwave and fridge. The location is perfect for exploring Adobe State Historic Park and the Tehama District Fairgrounds. The front desk staff were super friendly and even suggested local activities. We loved the pool and found excellent deals for breakfast nearby. Will definitely come back!
One of our friends had issues with the bathroom door not closing properly . It was a bit awkward and could be bothersome for those seeking privacy.

The room price
The rooms do not have coffee pots. The toilet seat had water damage and was peeling off.
